Matt Truax
Youth Pastor
Matt and his wife, Natalie, began attending Village Meadows in 2020. After retiring from the Army as a Project Management Officer, he joined Village Meadows as the Interim Youth Pastor in October of 2022 and was ordained in the spring of 2023. Matt is married to the love of his life, Natalie, and they have three wonderful kiddos.
Matt has known that he has been called into ministry since 2017 and has been striving to figure out what that meant as he finished
up his military career. It's exciting to see God open doors for him to serve.
Since stepping into ministry, Matt has been working towards a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and hopes to be complete no later than 2025. His previous education includes a master's degree in business and organizational security management and a PMP certification.
Lastly and most importantly, Matt is passionate about sharing the Gospel and teaching life application of the Word of God to our Youth.
